Dealing with homonyms

Currently we are adding homonyms in as separate terms, each with its own HAO id. This has one advantage in that users get immediate feedback regarding text entered into proofer or otherwise marked up (i.e., homonyms are marked up as having multiple concepts).

Problem 1: mx only allows one spelling of a term per highest taxon. For example the term 'stipes' has four different concepts, all of which apply to Hymenoptera. We can enter 'stipes' once with highest applicable taxon as 'Hymenoptera' and we can add it a 2nd time with no highest applicable taxon. Then we cannot enter a 3rd 'stipes' unless we give it a different highest taxon.

Problem 2: multiple 'stipes' in the list creates confusion (maybe that's the point?); which 'stipes' is the one I want to use?!

Workaround: created 'alternative concept' tag, reserving the 'alternative definition' tag for different wordings of the same concept.
